Shawn, Co-Founder
The manly hand of Prince Friend, Shawn is a successful wiseguy and fond of writing his own "About Us" intros. When he's not working directly on Prince Friend, he's working as a startup specialist and educator.
Shawn's passion for fashion is severely lacking, but he's committed to making the world a friendlier place.
Kristen, Co-Founder
The elegant heart of Prince Friend, Kristen is a successful entrepreneur and advocate for women's workplace empowerment in Japan. Born and raised in Toyko, Kristen speaks not 1; not 2; but 6 languages!!!
Kristen's passion for making the world a friendlier place was the inspiration that sparked Prince Friend.

During Tokyo’s post-pandemic tourism boom, Kristen and Shawn’s visiting friends, inspired by Japanese dramas, look for unique experiences. Kristen and Shawn refined Prince Friend to bring those stories to life.
