Q. What does the "Prince" in Prince Friend mean?

In Japan, handsome men are sometimes referred to as a "Princes". While your Prince friend is most likely not actually part of Japan's royal family, he represents a charming, attentive companion who treats you like royalty.

 

Q. How early should I arrive to my experience?

 Please arrive at your designated meeting location at least 15 minutes early. Your Prince is very much looking forward to your meeting, and arriving late may cause him mental anguish.

Q. Can my experience take place in a private location (such as a karaoke room)?

 Keep in mind that Prince Friend is meant to be experienced in PUBLIC locations only. Your Prince will not recommend private places to visit.

Q. Am I allowed to take pictures with my Prince?

 Of course! Your Prince wants you to have the best experience possible, while making precious memories along the way. Your Prince will be happy to pose for pictures, and can even assist you in taking photos with your camera / smartphone.

Q. Who is responsible for the Prince's expenses like transportation, meals, shopping, and other fees during the experience?

 You are expected to cover any additional expenses during the experience (beyond the Prince's initial transportation fee, which is already included in your Prince Friend reservation). The most common additional expenses are meals and admission into venues.

 Of course, please feel free to share your budget with your Prince, and they will suggest options that fit: from the affordable to the luxurious! Your Prince is dedicated to ensuring that your experience matches your preferences and budget.

 

Q. Can I give a gift to my Prince during the experience?

 Yes, you are welcome to offer gifts to your Prince!

 However, please note that CONSUMABLE items (such as snacks or drinks) should not be presented as gifts. Also, items that have already been opened should not be presented as gifts. For more details on gifting policies and guidelines, kindly refer to our Policies section for additional information.

Q. Can my experience take place outside of Tokyo?

​ Prince Friend is meant to be experienced within the Tokyo city area. Your Prince is an expert at providing a unique Tokyo experience, catered specifically to you. Also, your Prince lives in Tokyo and leading him out into the unfamiliar countryside may result in him having trouble finding his way home.

Q. How many people can join one Prince Friend experience?

​ Each Prince can guide up to 4 guests to ensure everyone receives personal attention and a high-quality experience.
If you’re planning a larger outing, please book 1 Prince per 4 guests.

For larger groups, please reserve additional Princes at a 1:4 ratio.

Example:

  • 1–4 guests → 1 Prince

  • 5–8 guests → 2 Princes

  • 9–12 guests → 3 Princes

Q. Can I hang out with my Prince outside Tokyo?

​ Currently, Prince Friend experiences are available exclusively in the following areas:

Q. Can I send "Prince Friend Experience" to someone visiting Japan from overseas?
